LIGHTHOUSE REFLECTED

Intuition as strong as the beam of light emanating from the lighthouse that stoically stood on the Point.

Lighthouses’ missions are never meant to light the way to sail away. Their missions are meant to light the way to sail home as expeditiously and safely as possible.

Intuition, a beacon of growing awareness leading to a greater understanding of personal circumstances. This awareness allows the gift of reflection in a moment of self awareness. Intuitive lighthouses lead one to the beachhead of said “greater understanding”. Consciousness is a universal energy of many energy vibrations. For me, a heightened awareness is realized after following the beacon of intuition home.

Why are lighthouses important to me?

I have been blessed to live much of my life near beautiful lighthouses. I have heard and read stories of adventure and courage anchored to  lighthouses. One such story is of a light house keeper of the Lime Rock Light in Newport during the 1800’s. Her name was Ida Lewis. She was twelve in 1854 when she made her first rescue of four men whose small boat had capsized. During her life she rescued 18 people. Ida was awarded the Congressional Medal for Lifesaving and the Gold Lifesaving Medal. Her concious awareness apparently was courage! ( I recommend that you read more of her life and her family’s life online.)

Courage.. To follow intuition to greater awareness of the moment takes courage for me. I want to use this platform to share awareness of “light within” I have become aware of through my reading, watching, listening, and living for almost eight decades of this life. The eternity of the Universe and its wonders are without us and they are within us.
